Enterprise Connect
The Federal Government committed $250 million over five years for the Enterprise Connect initiative. The initiative provides SMEs with better access to new ideas, knowledge and technologies, to enable businesses to become more innovative, efficient and competitive and to lift productivity across Australian industry. Enterprise Connect has established manufacturing centres in each state and in Queensland, has linked with QMI Solutions for the delivery of its services.
Discussions between the Federal and State Governments resulted in an agreement that Enterprise Connect will not duplicate services already implemented by the Queensland Government. This means in cases where an Enterprise Connect Business Review identifies areas for improvement which are covered by the State Government’s contracts with QMI Solutions, clients should initially apply for a State Government subsidy.
Third Party Providers
Queensland manufacturers now have more flexible access to industry expertise and Queensland Government subsidized services, through QMI Solutions’ network of world-class, Third Party Providers (TPPs).
QMI Solutions engages the help of external consultancies to assist in the delivery of its products and services. The main benefits to this program are:

Focus on new technologies: The TPP program enables QMI Solutions staff to spend less time delivering established products, and dedicate more focus on increasing the uptake of new technologies and practices.
