New website launched

In October, we launched the new look QMI Solutions website at www.qmisolutions.com.au

The new website was developed to provide a more integrated online presence that brought together the broadened offering of QMI Solutions since the mergers with MSQ and ICN. This is made as obvious as possible the home page defining our offering in terms of improving Skills, Performance, Innovation and Capability for industry.

Some other new features include:

New integrated journey to excellence model
When we talk about what QMI Solutions does – we commonly refer to the Journey to Excellence Model. This concept uses the premise that any improvement activity is not ultimately beneficial or sustainable as a one-off. Companies must look at the improvement ‘journey’ – a sequence of activities that genuinely improve the business. The new website communicates an integrated journey to excellence approach both broadly and in the context of the specific offerings by all three divisions. You’ll find these details under “Our Divisions” on the home page menu.

More visible linkages
The linkages between QMI Solutions, MSQ and ICN are much more visible via the home page, all sub-pages and on relevant content pages. Linkages with our stakeholders is more definitive via the “About Us/Stakeholders” option, as is our linkages with Enterprise Connect and our Third Party providers via the “About Us/Partners” page.

Case study search
We now have a more dynamic case search located under the “Case Studies” menu option. You can search for case studies for all divisions based on geographic locations, industry sectors, products used or even by the company name. You can also view the entire list of case studies. We have not migrated all older case studies across from the previous site – if you want access to a previous case study just email us.

Media Coverage list
Under the Media menu option, you can see a list of our media coverage, which was unavailable on the previous site.

Presentations
We can now also provide our presentations via the website to view or download, which can be used as a pseudo-FTP site for attendees of events or conferences. This was also unavailable on the previous site.

Broader newsletter subscriptions
Each of QMI’s divisions has an e-newsletter that can be individually subscribed to under this function and in the one location.

Regional contact listing
All our regional staff and contact details across all divisions are now listed in the one place.

Social media links
Since the start of the year, we have been adding to our social media links which include Twitter, Facebook, Linked In and Youtube. This has several advantages, the primary of which allows the QMI website to be returned in searches via content made available through these social media links. For example, if someone searched for “Lean manufacturing” previously, the related content in the QMI Solutions website would be listed. Now this content plus other related content is returned as searches under each of the social media links – giving QMI a broader online presence. Other advantages are that these links allow us to build a highly-specific body of content targeted towards different users and also allow us to broaden our local and international linkages with what is going on in industry.

Please feel free to have a look around the site and provide us with your feedback.
